The Last Eco-green Ark in the Western Plain

2016年0206大地震，這是地表抬升最多的地方。

This area had the most significant topographic amplification after the major earthquake on February 6th, 2016

右邊就是龍船山與182道路。

Lungchuan Mountain and the 182 County Highway are to the right

多樣的組成形成各種山頭、山谷、陡峭的山壁、緩坡、疏林、密林、廣大的芒草原與光禿的開闊地。

There are different formations including hilltops, valleys, steep cliffs, gentle slopes, sparse and dense forests, vast fields and bare open land

這裡是山崩地滑地質敏感區

This is a landslide-landslip geologically sensitive area

這裡有古亭坑背斜、龍船斷層、及許多的盲斷層。

In the area are the Gutingkeng anticline, Lungchuan fault, and many blind thrust faults

這裡不是不毛之地，相反的卻是動植物豐富性極高的地方

Considered a barren land, but it actually has great biodiversity of flora and fauna

只因為我們不了解。

We just don’t understand it

這裡是二仁溪上游的牛埔溪，全流域沒有汙染，自然環境保存良好。

Niupu River is at the upper reaches of the Erren River

Unpolluted, its natural ecology is well preserved 

是自然與產業文化結合，

這裡還保有百年前荷蘭人初到台灣時候的樣貌。

Niupu River has a wide range of environmental features, including ponds, shallow waters, beach land, and dry areas

豐富多樣的植物，也創造出多樣的生態環境。

Its diverse flora has also resulted in a diverse ecology
